Send & Respond Chapbook

A collage artist and a poet wanted to generate inspiration and accountability through a correspondence, sending and responding to each other’s work.

Aubree would send Laura an original collage. Laura would craft a poem in response. Laura would also send Aubree an original poem, and Aubree would craft a collage in response.

Collaboration goals:

• Play, experiment, explore

• Motivate through friendly accountability

• Make art with as little focus on results and

• expectations as they could muster

The chapbook includes all 14 collage and poem pairs created in the project.
